About The Position
Brock University is seeking an Instructor for COSC 4P14 Advanced Computer Networks for the Winter D3 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The compensation for a full course is $15,775.20, effective September 1, 2026. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Duties include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science or related discipline. Senior doctoral candidates will be considered if no qualified applicants are found.
- Experience in teaching quantitative research methods.
- Prior teaching and/or research experience in the study of Advanced Computer Networks.
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).
