About The Position
Brock University is seeking an Instructor for COSC 1P71 Essentials of Artificial Intelligence for the Winter D3 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The compensation for a full course is $15,775.20, effective September 1, 2026. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab. Duties include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration.
Requirements
- PhD (complete or enrolled in) in Computer Science or related discipline, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, preferred.
- University-level teaching experience in Artificial Intelligence, fundamental computer science and computer programming.
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations).
