About The Position
Brock University is seeking an Instructor for the COSC 1P03 - Introduction to Data Structures course for the Winter D3 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The compensation for a half course is $7,887.59 effective September 1, 2026. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Duties include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science or related discipline (senior doctoral candidates will be considered if no qualified applicants exist)
- Experience in teaching quantitative research methods
- Prior teaching and/or research experience in the study of Computer Science
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations)
