About The Position

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a Part-Time Aviation Instructor for FY 2027. This role involves delivering lecture and lab instruction for Aviation Courses, developing lesson plans and course materials, evaluating student mastery of skills, and providing advisement to students. Some program and curriculum development may be requested, and instructors may be asked to attend staff meetings and recruitment activities. CSN is Nevada's largest college and one of the largest in the nation, operating in over 50 locations with 3 main campuses and multiple sites. As a comprehensive, multi-campus community college, CSN educates over 50,000 students annually and is accredited by the Northwest Commission on College and Universities. Requirements

FAA issued Certificated Flight (II) Instructor, OR FAA issued Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating and Advanced Ground Instructor Certificate, and Instrument Ground Instructor.
OR, Aviation Industry Professionals with extensive experience or Aerodynamics, or Advanced Aircraft Systems, or Crew Resource Management, or Airport Management, or Airline Operations, or Cabin Service.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Science, Aeronautical Administration, or related field.
Knowledge in Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
