About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop learner-centered training that supports intelligence analysis and national security missions. The role works with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify customer training needs, recommend learning solutions, and create performance support tools and training materials using the ADDIE model. The designer uses technical skills and creativity to develop engaging, interactive learning experiences for online or classroom settings, and recommends multimedia technologies and strategies, including blended learning.

The position involves ongoing communication with SMEs to review learning materials and incorporate feedback. The designer evaluates training results using methods such as the Kirkpatrick Model and refines solutions to improve their impact. The role also includes sharing expertise through leadership and mentoring, and identifying opportunities to develop solutions for customer learning needs.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in training course development or instruction, building computer-based training, and intelligence analysis.
• Experience working with Captivate and Blackboard platforms to build courses for virtual learning.
• Knowledge of instructional design, intelligence analysis tradecraft, and national security concepts.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities
