About The Position
Under immediate supervision, the Instructional Student Assistant will assist one or more regular faculty members with various professional, technical and research-based duties associated generally with the subjects or programs in the department of Communication.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate/graduate student at CSUSB
- Must maintain academic eligibility throughout employment period (3.0 GPA or higher)
- Must be able to work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students
Nice To Haves
- For undergraduate applicants, successful completion of the course (or similar courses) for which the applicant will act as ISA.
Responsibilities
- Publishing course materials to Canvas page
- Responding to student emails
- Recording class attendance
- Using rubrics to evaluate student work
- Providing feedback on discussion posts
- Entering grades in Canvas gradebook
