The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District provides comprehensive wastewater and storm water management services to residents and businesses in both St. Louis City and County. Responsibilities

  • Create and develop effective, engaging, and learner-centric training programs and courses for both in-person and on-line delivery.
  • Use instructional design frameworks to create learning materials such as course outlines, storyboards, scripts, e-Learning modules, instructor-led training, and assessments.
  • Integrate multimedia, simulations, and interactive learning elements to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Design and upload course content to the company’s LMS (Learning Management System), ensuring all materials are accessible and easy to navigate.
  • Monitor course participation and learner progress, providing reports on completion and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Use data to continuously improve and refine instructional content and delivery methods.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), supervisor, managers, and other stakeholders to identify learning objectives and translate them into impactful training content.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate apprenticeship programs.
  • Track and report on program progress to stakeholders.
  • Maintain program documentation, including agreements and all program materials including: Pay progression, increases, and title changes.
  • Prepare and present progress updates to leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Perform related work as required or as delegated by supervisor.
