About The Position
The Saddleback Valley Unified School District is seeking an entry-level technical instructional assistant to support its elementary physical education program. Under general supervision, the assistant helps plan and implement lessons, organize equipment, lead activities, and maintain a safe environment for students across multiple sites. The role supports students in developing physical skills, fitness, teamwork, and self-regulation, while encouraging interest in physical activity and health. The selected person may be assigned to any district facility during any hours of operation. The listed schedule is 8:00 AM–2:30 PM, but times are subject to change.
Requirements
- Attach proof of one of the following: passing the CBEST; completing two years of college (48 units); earning an AA degree or higher; or passing the District proficiency exam in mathematics, reading, and writing before the job posting closes.
- Attach current, District-approved First Aid and CPR certificates; online-only training is not accepted, and certification must be from an in-person or blended program.
- Attach a copy of a valid current California driver's license.
- If using education to meet the requirements, attach transcripts or a diploma to the EdJoin application.
