Installer/Driver
About The Position
The Installer/Driver plays a crucial role in installing Goat Turf and accessories, assisting with play equipment installation, and completing site work. The role also drives the crew to job sites safely and legally. The position is full-time, based at Goat Turf Installation in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, with travel up to 50%. The salary range is $20.00–$22.00 per hour. The role involves preparing job sites, installing turf or other specified materials, helping complete work on time, and leaving the site clean and ready for the customer. Driving responsibilities include performing vehicle and safety checks, ensuring GPS equipment is used correctly, and complying with applicable DOT requirements. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to handle a wheelbarrow of gravel.
- Ability to work in hot weather.
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and compliance with DOT standards, if applicable.
- Pre-employment drug testing is mandatory; the role is subject to random drug and alcohol testing as a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities
- Remove existing material from job sites.
- Bring base material to the site and spread it out.
- Install grass or other materials specified for the job.
- Help ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner and sites are clean and ready for customers.
- Help ensure sprinklers are working when required.
- Keep the truck clean and organized.
- Check truck lights and tires each morning before leaving the warehouse.
- Ensure everyone is wearing seat belts.
- Check the job-site area before driving on-site and use spotters when backing up.
- Ensure GPS equipment is pointed in the correct direction and scan the card each morning; report card issues to the office.
- Drive the crew to the site safely and legally.
- Comply with applicable DOT regulations, including Hours of Service requirements, and undergo required drug and alcohol testing.
- Perform additional duties and accountabilities as assigned.
