Driver and Graphics Installer

About The Position

Vomela is seeking a Driver and Graphics Installer to safely move trucks, trailers, and other vehicles between designated yard, production, installation, and loading areas. The role coordinates vehicle movement to support production schedules and installation timelines, performs pre- and post-movement inspections, reports damage or maintenance concerns, follows safety policies and traffic regulations, positions vehicles for installation and other operational needs, and maintains yard inventory and vehicle locations. The position also assists with installing vehicle graphics, wraps, decals, lettering, and fleet branding materials. Duties include preparing vehicle surfaces, staging materials, supporting measurement and application, assisting with removal and repair work, safely using tools and equipment, maintaining quality standards, and keeping work areas clean and hazard-free. The installer collaborates with production, installation, and shipping teams and may help load and unload materials and equipment or perform other duties supporting shop operations and customer deadlines.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to learn graphic installation techniques and processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to climb ladders and access various areas of vehicles safely.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Manual dexterity sufficient to handle graphic materials and installation tools.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience driving commercial vehicles, trucks, or trailers.
Prior experience with vehicle graphics, signage, wraps, or installation work.

Responsibilities

Safely move trucks, trailers, and other vehicles between yard, production, installation, and loading areas.

Follow company safety policies and traffic regulations while operating vehicles.
Position vehicles for installation, inspection, shipping, and customer pickup.
Organize and maintain yard inventory and vehicle locations.
Assist with installing vehicle graphics, wraps, decals, lettering, and fleet branding materials.
Prepare vehicle surfaces through cleaning, masking, and material staging.
Support installers with measuring, positioning, applying, and finishing graphic materials.
Assist with graphic removal, repairs, and reinstallation projects as needed.
Operate hand tools and installation equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain quality standards and ensure installations meet customer specifications.
Keep installation areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Collaborate with production, installation, and shipping teams.
Follow company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
Assist with loading and unloading materials, supplies, and equipment as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned to support shop operations and customer deadlines.
