About The Position

Precision Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric is hiring an HVAC Install Manager to lead and mentor installation crews and coordinate with Sales, Field Supervisors, Project Managers, and Operations. The manager oversees HVAC installation projects to ensure they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. The role includes ensuring compliance with building codes and OSHA and EPA regulations, communicating with customers, monitoring team and department performance, and supporting departmental budgeting and forecasting. This leadership position combines office and field responsibilities and includes frequent travel to job sites. The position is full-time, with a salary range of $80,000–$95,000 per year, and travel of up to 25%.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of HVAC installation experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• EPA Section 608 Certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and code compliance.
• Proven ability to manage teams, projects, and budgets effectively.
• Proficiency with ServiceTitan or similar project or service management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC trade school or technical training.
• NATE certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, recruit, and develop installation crews, including leads, installers, and apprentices.
• Oversee installation projects to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, and Field Supervisors to schedule projects and allocate resources.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Review job documentation in ServiceTitan or the company CRM and manage vendor and supplier relationships.
• Communicate with customers to set expectations and promptly resolve concerns.
• Monitor KPIs and track labor and material costs, supporting departmental budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare and present departmental performance reports to company leadership.
