HVAC Install Manager
About The Position
Champion Comfort Experts is seeking a results-driven HVAC Install Manager to lead its installation team and drive operational excellence. The manager oversees residential and/or commercial HVAC installation operations, develops a team of installers, ensures quality workmanship and safety and efficiency standards, and supports customer satisfaction throughout projects. The role facilitates and performs quality and safety inspections on new installations, troubleshoots installation and start-up issues, coordinates installation work, and partners with service, dispatch, warehouse, and other departments. The manager also coaches and develops Installation Technicians, resolves escalated customer disputes and complaints, and provides daily feedback to the HVAC Operations Manager. Compensation is $80,000 per year, with monthly bonus potential and an additional $12,000 annual compensation for maintaining the required H3-1 HVAC license.
Requirements
- Current H3-1 HVAC license in North Carolina or South Carolina.
- At least 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience, including diagnostic troubleshooting and repair service for air conditioning and heating systems.
- Ability to train others.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Acceptable criminal background check.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate and perform quality and safety inspections on new installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation and start-up issues.
- Provide consistent feedback, encouragement, support, professional development, and coaching to Installation Technicians.
- Partner with service, dispatch, warehouse, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate customer service in accordance with company standards and procedures.
- Follow up on and resolve escalated customer disputes and complaints, seeking effective, long-term resolutions.
- Provide daily feedback to the HVAC Operations Manager.
- Plan, forecast, and coordinate installations.
- Communicate clear goals and expectations to Installation Technicians.
- Help foster a fun and nurturing culture aligned with Integrity Home Solution Core Values.
- Incorporate safety topics into one-to-one coaching conversations, weekly meetings, and training sessions.
- Monitor and act on trends involving Installation Technician callbacks and service opportunities.
