About The Position

Inside Sales for Cards, Decorative, and Industrial will manage sales activities of accounts as assigned. The primary responsibilities include selling products and answering inquiries relative to product pricing and availability. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two to three years experience as a Sales, Senior Customer Service or related experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP PE1 or other major CRM is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of standard Internet search engines, such as Google.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements agreed upon strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly for the agreed upon accounts assigned.
  • Develop and implement target account strategies designed to grow market share, to include a new customer list, call frequency targets for new accounts, and goals for closing new business.
  • Confer with potential customers by telephone to ascertain their need for kpA TH film products and services and recommend the proper film and sheet product to meet the customer’s requirements.
  • Perform the duties of customer service for these customers and coordinate all in-house contact for assigned customers who are placing orders or making inquiries relative to product availability, orders, order status, shipment dates, sample requests, and complaints and/or returns.
  • Make regular telephone calls to assigned customers and potential customers, introducing the complete kpA Value Proposition and product line and identifying areas for increased sales participation by kpA.
  • Make regular telephone calls to their assigned customers based on targeted requirements in order to keep customer purchases on track.
  • Quote prices to the assigned customers within kpA corporate guidelines.
  • Travel as required to the assigned accounts and others within the market as deemed necessary by kpA Sales and Marketing Management.
  • Monitor weekly sales against budget on assigned inside sales accounts and advise sales and marketing management of changes to customer status.
  • Recommend strategies to secure additional volume at assigned customers.
  • Recommend, develop, implement and manage service plans to provide consolidated freight savings to assigned customers ordering less-than-truckload quantities.
  • Utilize SharePoint to plan their weekly customer calls and report the activities of the assigned accounts.
  • Represent the “voice of the customer” within kpA for the assigned customers.
  • Monitor issues and act as the coordinator in order to facilitate prompt resolution.
  • May be asked by kpA Sales and Marketing management for support by working with outside sales and or customers not assigned to the Inside Sales Account Manager to fill holes in the schedule.
  • Support the Thermoforming Business Manger by monitoring, evaluateing and reporting the activities and products of the competition.
  • Support kpA Sales and Marketing Management on special requests and assignments to perform various market analysis for the thermoforming business unit.
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Practice good safety and housekeeping at all times.
  • Perform any other duties, as directed to aid in the proper and profitable functioning of the Sales Department.
