About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to provide customer service and sales support to customers purchasing products for roofing, building, and remodeling projects. The role involves understanding customer needs, recommending products and solutions, processing sales orders and payments, coordinating with the warehouse, maintaining inventory, and resolving service concerns. The listed pay rate is $20–$21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience in roofing, siding, and windows, such as roofing supply sales or site work with a crew.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow a product and supply checklist for each customer’s job and upsell additional products and supplies.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payments and apply them to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time and all items were accounted for.
• Reorder products to keep store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns.
