About The Position

Empower Rental Group is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for its Calvert City, Kentucky store. Empower Rental Group is a family of local equipment rental providers across the Southeastern United States. The company began with three locations in 2021 and has grown to more than 36 locations.

The Inside Sales Representative supports branch operations by working with customers, vendors, and branch employees to provide operational services. The role also supports sales as needed and completes outbound sales calls. It is a multitasking position involving operational tasks and customer service for internal and external customers. The representative works cooperatively with the team to ensure orders are placed correctly and customers receive what they need.

Responsibilities

• Answer operational branch calls and take ownership of customer needs.
• Assist customers with equipment pickups and deliveries, including walk-in customers where applicable.
• Complete daily outbound sales calls in line with the assigned quota.
• Record calls in the rental system using electronic call logs.
• Route trucks and maintain consistent communication with drivers.
• Schedule drivers and truck maintenance.
• Record call-off numbers and communicate them to customers.
• Complete contract closeouts and rental-period invoicing.
• Ensure cycle invoice accuracy.
• Complete on-site fuel inventory and place fuel orders.
• Write purchase orders.
• Work with the Shop Foreman or rental shop to assign equipment to orders.
• Complete truck PPE inventory.
• Assist outside sales representatives.
• Support project execution tasks, including questions about administration, delivery, or invoicing.
• Handle customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
• Communicate frequently with customers.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
