About The Position

Preservica is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) with 2-3 years of experience selling SaaS solutions to join their fast-growing team. The ideal candidate understands Product Led Growth (PLG) strategies used by innovative B2B SaaS companies and is eager to advance their sales career. This role involves identifying, qualifying, and facilitating sales of entry-level Preservica products (Starter to Professional) through inbound and outbound lead generation within a PLG environment. The ISR will become knowledgeable about Active Digital Preservation and Preservica's product range, providing insights to organizations across various markets. The company values its sales force and seeks input on product improvements, marketing strategies, and sales tactics.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Previous experience in an inside sales roll or a related sales position preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with Product Led Growth (PLG) and customer-centric engagement.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
  • Exceptional customer support skills.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
  • Work successfully as part of the overall sales and marketing teams.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with records, information governance and archives is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of Preservica products from current and potential prospects.
  • Qualify and engage with upsell targets through appropriate channels & campaigns.
  • Close deals under $20,000 ARR and earn commission.
  • Monitor and report on users who have self-selected Preservica’s freemium version of our software, Starter.
  • Proactively help users towards product adoption by using a consultative approach.
  • Qualify potential end-users for Professional and Enterprise opportunities and set up appointments for the Direct Sales team.
  • Keep up with product and service information and updates.
  • Explain and demonstrate features of products and services.
  • Stay informed about competing products and services.
  • Manage and update opportunities in Salesforce daily to track Sales business & activity.
  • Manage and update LinkedIn for networking.
