About The Position

Inside Sales Representatives at Sunlighten are crucial to the company's growth, connecting with, inspiring, and guiding individuals on their wellness journeys. The role involves helping customers bring transformative health solutions into their daily lives. Ideal candidates are natural closers with excellent communication skills and positive energy, capable of converting prospects into loyal customers. The position offers the opportunity to build relationships, exceed goals, and contribute to the future of health within the rapidly growing wellness industry. This role requires candidates to be local to the Kansas City area and work from the office four times a week, with a training class starting on August 24th, 2026.

Requirements

  • Must be local to the Kansas City metro area and willing to work out of Sunlighten HQ 4 times each week.
  • Availability to start on August 24th, 2026 is required.
  • 1+ year of telephone sales experience and a proven track record of sales success.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or a related field (High School Diploma/GED + relevant work experience will be considered).
  • 1+ year of Salesforce experience + extremely tech savvy.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and reach appropriate resolutions in varied situations.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, naturally curious and a problem solver.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for the purpose of closing deals.
  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Empathize with customers and discuss their health and wellness goals in relation to infrared saunas.
  • Ensure customers understand the benefits of Sunlighten's infrared technology and secure their business.
  • Demonstrate a high sense of urgency to capitalize on leads from multiple marketing channels.
  • Initiate calls to re-engage with leads that showed initial interest but were not converted.
  • Proactively identify target customers and conduct manual dials to generate new leads.
  • Juggle multiple touchpoints simultaneously and prioritize opportunities through effective time management.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to track and manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete sales transactions, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepare contracts and submit orders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate order processing and proper product distribution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Be a proactive, high-performing team member.
  • Follow through consistently and embrace challenges.
  • Work with a winning team of sales professionals and leaders.
