About The Position

Capital Electric is hiring an Inside Sales Representative II to maintain, identify, and grow the customer base; provide consistent, superior customer service; increase sales and margin; and follow up on accounts. The customer base is primarily Industrial, OEM, and Government accounts, along with some Construction accounts. The role provides project quotations and manages project orders, negotiates pricing and terms, enters orders for multiple customers and jobs, follows up on deliveries, and assists with counter sales. The position also requires courtesy toward customers and the ability to multitask and prioritize daily work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of counter experience; electrical distribution industry experience preferred.
• Solid customer service background.
• Dependable mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Reliability, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, and complete project quotations.
• Provide accurate project management of project orders.
• Serve primarily Industrial, OEM, and Government customers, as well as some Construction accounts.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with project vendors and customers.
• Enter orders for different jobs and customers.
• Set up certain customers on blankets.
• Follow up on product deliveries.
• Help the counter with sales.
• Treat customers with courtesy and politeness.
• Multitask and prioritize tasks throughout the day.
• Perform other duties as required.
