About The Position

The Inside Sales Rep supports Regional Sales Managers by providing pricing and proposal documentation and facilitating order entry for building proposals. The position develops preliminary layouts, maintains opportunity records, coordinates complete order information, and responds to customer requests.

The role inputs customer and sales information into CRM, site plan databases, and other business systems; identifies applicable building codes; prepares and revises budgets, quotes, and proposals; creates site plans and building layouts using AutoCAD; enters preliminary order information into Navision; and coordinates the order process with customers and internal departments.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of building systems, structural design, products, and services.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• AutoCAD proficiency, or willingness to develop the required layout skills.
• Associate degree; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• One to three years of building or construction industry experience.
• Ability to read plans, understand scope, and work with quantities and pricing.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, customer communication, and ability to prioritize concurrent requests.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including CRM and Excel.
• AutoCAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Input customer information into CRM, the site plan database, and other sales and business information systems.
• Identify applicable local, county, or state building codes and ensure quotes reflect the requirements.
• Prepare budgets, quotes, and proposal revisions using approved pricing tools.
• Verify quantities, scope, options, adders, deducts, exclusions, and freight assumptions, including truckload requirements.
• Create site plans for new or existing facilities using AutoCAD.
• Create building drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Enter preliminary order information into Navision accurately and completely for transfer to Sales Support for contract preparation.
• Facilitate the order process by communicating with customers and internal departments.
• Maintain opportunity records, coordinate complete order information, and respond to customer requests.
