About The Position

Oracle is seeking an Inside Sales Renewals Expert to support Government, Defense, and Intelligence customers, with a focus on Department of War (DOW) accounts. The role drives Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) contract renewals and replenishments, while identifying opportunities to expand customer use of Oracle solutions. It is remote, with a preference—but not a requirement—for candidates located in the Greater Washington, DC area. The position manages a portfolio of accounts, engages customers through phone, video, and digital channels, and provides account guidance tailored to government requirements. The expert manages sales pipelines and forecasts, works to close contracts before expiration, and collaborates with customer success and internal sales, product, support, and security teams to address customer needs and renewal risks. The role requires independent judgment, strong sales-cycle management, and a track record of revenue attainment. Oracle describes the work as varied and complex, involving contact with internal teams and external customers, and notes that the position may include a project lead role. A bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science, or equivalent, is typically expected.
