About The Position

The Inside Sales II role is responsible for accurate order processing, pricing, and procurement while providing dependable customer service. The position supports associates and customers through transparent communication, teamwork, and a commitment to operational excellence. It works under general supervision, following well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques, with output regularly reviewed by a senior coworker or supervisor. Complex or unusual problems are referred to a supervisor.

The role is based in a comfortable indoor environment. Most work is performed seated, with frequent opportunities to move about; only rarely may the position require moving or lifting light articles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
• Specialized skills training or certification may be required.
• Generally 2–5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7 AM–4 PM.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in order management systems and basic reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of inside sales or customer service experience.
• Ability to manage procurement processes and coordinate logistics.
• Leadership qualities demonstrated through mentoring and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Process orders received by phone, email, text, and counter, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
• Manage basic pricing within established guidelines to maintain margin goals.
• Coordinate non-stock procurement and logistics to meet customer needs.
• Handle credit card, check, and cash payments securely.
• Identify stock products and recommend comparable alternatives to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate proactively and follow up to ensure service commitments are met.
• Maintain accurate transaction and procurement records and documentation.
• Guide and train junior associates to promote teamwork and dependable performance.
