About The Position

Built Solutions is seeking an Inside Sales / Estimating Coordinator to support our preconstruction and sales efforts by owning the bid process from initial opportunity through final handoff. This role plays a critical part in how we position and win work by delivering accurate pricing, coordinating across teams, and actively managing opportunities throughout the pursuit phase. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, process-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working at the intersection of sales, estimating, and project execution.

Requirements

• Background in construction estimating, inside sales, or preconstruction and enjoy being part of the bid and pursuit process
• Ability to quickly interpret construction drawings and specifications to understand scope, risks, and opportunities
• Attention to detail and strong organizational habits
• Proficient in Excel
• Perform well under pressure, effectively prioritizing and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment

Responsibilities

• Own bid opportunities end-to-end—from intake through submission and final handoff
• Analyze plans and specifications to define scope and identify risks early in the process
• Develop detailed takeoffs and accurate project estimates
• Coordinate and align pricing across vendors, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders
• Validate all project costs and margins to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Partner with sales and leadership to inform pricing strategy and positioning
• Manage active bids, communicating with clients and resolving scope questions along the way
• Ensure a smooth transition by delivering clear, accurate handoffs to the operations team upon award
