About The Position

Quality Glass is a glass fabricator and aluminum distributor based in Omaha. We fabricate tempered glass, insulating glass, and mirror, and we supply aluminum to glaziers, contractors, and manufacturers across the Midwest. This role supports our sales and estimating team by managing the quote process from request through award, and coordinating materials for the jobs we win. This person sits between our estimators and our customers. You’ll keep the quoting process organized and moving, be the go-to contact for customers with questions on their quotes, and close the loop on every bid we send out. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of the process and proactively follows through to maximize our customer's experience and our own win rate.

Requirements

• 2+ years in an inside sales, coordinator, project coordinator, or estimating support role.
• Very organized, with a track record of keeping trackers and records accurate and current.
• Comfortable on the phone with contractors and vendors, and consistent with follow-up.
• Willing to push back on internal deadlines in a professional way.
• Solid with email, Excel, and a CRM.
• Able to read basic quotes and learn our products. You won’t be doing takeoffs, and we’ll teach you the glass side.

Nice To Haves

• Construction, glass, glazing, or building products experience is a big plus.
• Experience buying materials for specific jobs or orders, or working alongside a shop floor, is a plus.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep the estimating team organized. Track incoming quote requests, due dates, and who owns what, and keep that log current in Salesforce.
• Send quotes out to customers and be their main point of contact for questions, revisions, and re-quotes.
• Hold estimators to deadlines. If a quote is going to be late, you’ll know before the customer does, and you’ll escalate it.
• Follow up on quotes we’ve sent. Did the customer win the job? Were we low? What number did they use? That feedback is how we get better at pricing.
• Generate new quote activity. Ask customers what else they’re bidding, build relationships over the phone, and monitor bid platforms like BuildingConnected, ConstructConnect, PlanHub, and Procore for work we should be quoting.
• Once we win a job, help buy the materials it needs and track them through receiving. Check with the floor on what we already have in-house so we’re not buying what’s on the shelf.
