About The Position

Quality Glass & Mirror Service is a glass fabricator and aluminum distributor based in Omaha, Nebraska. The company fabricates tempered glass, insulating glass, and mirror, and supplies aluminum to glaziers, contractors, and manufacturers across the Midwest.

The Inside Sales & Estimating Coordinator supports the sales and estimating team by managing quote requests through award and coordinating materials for jobs the company wins. The role serves as a connection between estimators and customers, keeping the quoting process organized, responding to customer questions, and following up on every bid to improve customer experience and the company’s win rate. This is an in-office, full-time position in Omaha and reports to the Director of Sales.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, coordination, project coordination, or estimating support.
• Strong organizational skills and a track record of keeping trackers and records accurate and current.
• Comfort communicating by phone with contractors and vendors and consistently following up.
• Ability to professionally push back on internal deadlines.
• Proficiency with email, Excel, and a CRM.
• Ability to read basic quotes and learn the company’s products.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in construction, glass, glazing, or building products.
• Experience purchasing materials for specific jobs or orders, or working alongside a shop floor.
• Salesforce experience.

Responsibilities

• Track incoming quote requests, due dates, and ownership, and keep the log current in Salesforce.
• Send quotes to customers and serve as their main point of contact for questions, revisions, and re-quotes.
• Monitor estimator deadlines, identify potential delays before customers are affected, and escalate late quotes.
• Follow up on submitted quotes to learn whether the customer won the job, whether Quality Glass was low, and what price was used.
• Generate quote activity by asking customers what else they are bidding and building relationships over the phone.
• Monitor BuildingConnected, ConstructConnect, PlanHub, and Procore for opportunities to quote.
• After a job is won, help purchase the materials it requires and track them through receiving.
• Check with the shop floor about existing inventory before purchasing materials.
