About The Position

Roberts Oxygen, a trusted name in industrial, medical, and specialty gases and equipment, is looking for a dedicated Inside Sales, Counter Sales Representative to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role involves assisting both external and internal customers with product inquiries, cost estimates, and sales, with a general knowledge of welding products and hardgoods. The position requires excellent customer service skills, efficient processing of sales transactions, and maintaining positive customer relationships. The representative will also support sales staff, manage inventory, maintain showroom displays, and ensure cleanliness of the location. Responsibilities include safely maneuvering and loading products, filling cylinders, and operating liquid filling production equipment. A commitment to high performance, outstanding attendance, and adherence to company policies and safety procedures is expected. Basic computer skills, mathematical aptitude, and the ability to lift 75lbs are also required.

Requirements

  • 2 years of insides sales and customer service, or welding experience
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills including internet searching, data entry, and ability to learn new programs
  • Demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude and function
  • Ability to lift 75lbs.
  • Excellent driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Spanish bilingual is preferred
  • Class A or B CDL preferred or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

  • Immediately and politely greets and assists walk-in visitors and customers, and promptly answers phones in a professional and courteous manner
  • Proven customer service experience provided through thoughtful and respectful interaction with customers regarding services, products, and invoices
  • Efficiently processes customer sales transactions while building trust and long-term relationships with customers to ensure future sales growth and company profitability
  • Supports Sales staff/management by providing timely and correct customer information, follow up scheduling, and fill-in branch coverage
  • Timely communicates and coordinates with Store Manager to ensure appropriate product levels are maintained. Receives and updates inventory, stocks shelves, counters, tables, and maintains showroom displays. Maintains show room and location cleanliness
  • Safely maneuvers and loads cylinders or other products on trailers and customer transportation
  • Fill cylinders and safely operate liquid filling production equipment
  • Committed to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits, Adheres to all company policies and guidelines as well as safety procedures
  • Basic computer skills including internet searching, data entry, and ability to learn new programs
  • Demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude and function
  • Ability to lift 75lbs.
