About The Position

Monarch Electric Supply, an affiliate of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI), is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Associate. The role responds to customer inquiries, processes orders, provides quotes, and supports outside sales representatives. It also involves tracking order and project statuses, coordinating with internal teams, building customer relationships, and recommending process improvements. Onsite work is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfort with basic math and product comparisons.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and accurately process orders via phone and email.
• Provide quotes on pricing, delivery, and payment terms, and suggest alternative products when needed.
• Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
• Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses and communicate updates to customers in a timely manner.
• Build customer relationships through knowledgeable, solution-oriented service.
• Coordinate with credit, warehouse, and counter sales teams as needed.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
