Inside Sales Associate
About The Position
Monarch Electric Supply, an affiliate of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI), is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Associate. The role provides customer service and sales support by responding to inquiries, processing orders, preparing quotes, tracking order and project progress, and coordinating with internal teams. The position is onsite and requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort with basic math and product comparisons.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work onsite.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and process orders by phone and email accurately and promptly.
- Provide quotes for pricing, delivery, and payment terms, and suggest alternative products when needed.
- Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
- Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses to ensure timely customer communication.
- Build customer relationships through knowledgeable, solution-oriented service.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including credit, warehouse, and counter sales.
- Recommend and help implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
