About The Position

Monarch Electric Supply, an affiliate of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI), is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Associate to support customers and outside sales representatives. The role responds to customer inquiries, processes orders, provides quotes, follows orders and projects, and coordinates with internal teams. The position is onsite and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities. The role also requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfort with basic math and product comparisons.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work onsite.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and process orders by phone and email accurately and promptly.
• Provide quotes on pricing, delivery, and payment terms, and suggest alternative products when needed.
• Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
• Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses to ensure timely customer communication.
• Build customer relationships through knowledgeable, solution-oriented service.
• Coordinate with credit, warehouse, and counter sales teams as needed.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to improve operational efficiency.
