About The Position

Monarch Electric Supply, an affiliate of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI), is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Associate. The role provides customer support by responding to inquiries, processing orders, preparing quotes, and coordinating with customers and internal teams. The associate also supports outside sales representatives and helps improve operational efficiency. This is an onsite position.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
Comfort with basic math and product comparisons.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to work onsite.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries and process orders accurately and promptly by phone and email.
Provide quotes on pricing, delivery, and payment terms, and suggest alternative products when needed.
Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses to ensure timely customer communication.
Build strong customer relationships through knowledgeable, solution-oriented service.
Coordinate with internal teams, including credit, warehouse, and counter sales, as needed.
Recommend and help implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
