Inside Sales Associate
About The Position
Monarch Electric Supply, an affiliate of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI), is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Associate. The role responds to customer inquiries and processes orders, provides pricing and delivery quotes, supports outside sales representatives, tracks order and project status, and coordinates with internal teams to provide knowledgeable, solution-oriented service. The position is onsite and requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. USESI describes itself as a family of 14 regional businesses, with more than 100 years of expertise, over $150 million in inventory, and more than 2,000 employees across 150 locations. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort with basic math and product comparisons.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work onsite.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and accurately and promptly process orders by phone and email.
- Provide quotes on pricing, delivery, and payment terms, and suggest alternative products when needed.
- Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
- Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses to ensure timely customer communication.
- Build strong customer relationships through knowledgeable, solution-oriented service.
- Coordinate with credit, warehouse, counter sales, and other internal teams as needed.
- Recommend and help implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
