Inside Sales Associate
About The Position
Monarch Electric Supply, an affiliate of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI), is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Associate to support customers and outside sales representatives. The role responds to customer inquiries and processes orders, provides quotes, tracks order and project status, and coordinates with internal teams to support accurate, timely service. The position is onsite and requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. This is a full-time position. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort with basic math and product comparisons.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work onsite.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and process orders by phone and email accurately and promptly.
- Provide quotes for pricing, delivery, and payment terms, and suggest alternative products when needed.
- Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
- Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses to ensure timely customer communication.
- Build customer relationships through knowledgeable, solution-oriented service.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including credit, warehouse, and counter sales.
- Recommend and help implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
