About The Position

Monarch Electric Supply, an affiliate of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI), is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Associate. The role responds to customer inquiries, processes orders, provides quotes, and supports outside sales representatives. It also tracks order and project status, coordinates with internal teams, and builds customer relationships through knowledgeable, solution-oriented service. The position is onsite and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and lift up to 25 lbs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfort with basic math and product comparisons.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and accurately process orders by phone and email with urgency.
• Provide quotes for pricing, delivery, and payment terms, and suggest alternative products when needed.
• Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
• Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses to ensure timely customer communication.
• Build strong customer relationships through knowledgeable, solution-oriented service.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including credit, warehouse, and counter sales.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
