About The Position

Monarch Electric Supply, an affiliate of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI), is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Associate. The role supports customers and outside sales representatives by responding to inquiries, processing orders, preparing quotes, tracking order and project status, and coordinating with internal teams. The position requires onsite work and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
Comfort with basic math and product comparisons.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to work onsite.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries and process orders by phone and email accurately and promptly.
Provide quotes on pricing, delivery, and payment terms, and suggest alternative products when appropriate.
Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses and keep customers informed in a timely manner.
Build customer relationships through knowledgeable, solution-oriented service.
Coordinate with credit, warehouse, and counter sales teams as needed.
Recommend and help implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
