About The Position

The Inside Sales Associate / Warehouse Associate helps customers identify their needs, develops solutions, and supports a smooth sales process. The role also supports the team and customers by receiving and pulling orders accurately and safely in a fast-paced environment. It is based at POOLCORP’s SPP Fort Myers sales center in Fort Myers, Florida, and pays $20 per hour with the opportunity to earn up to $2,500 through performance bonuses. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The position combines customer-facing inside sales work with warehouse support. The associate assists walk-in and phone customers, processes sales orders and payments, handles questions and complaints, evaluates warranty items, coordinates product pickup and delivery, and helps with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties. The role also includes safe forklift operation, vehicle safety checks, and maintaining a clean and safe facility. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 18 years of age to apply.
Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
Strong customer-service attitude and ability to deal directly with customers for a large portion of the day.
Good computer skills, including MS Office programs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment involving inventory, product allocations, and customer issues.
Safely operate a forklift and maintain required certification.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of related inside sales experience preferred.
Familiarity with a related product line, such as pool supplies, parts, chemicals, or pool construction.

Responsibilities

Establish relationships with customers by assisting walk-in and phone customers and representing the company professionally.
Process, pull, and distribute customer products quickly and efficiently.
Handle customer questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Enter sales orders accurately, generate invoices for pickup or delivery, and secure payment or obtain credit authorization according to company policy.
Evaluate and determine the disposition of warranty items in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty policy and customer needs.
Estimate delivery dates based on knowledge of vendors’ production and delivery schedules.
Assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, coworkers, and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies to a supervisor.
Help keep the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
