About The Position

Astrodyne TDI is seeking a highly organized and responsive Inside Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for one of the company's largest and most strategic customers. This high-visibility, high-volume role acts as the central hub between the customer and internal teams. The successful candidate will combine accurate transaction management, proactive communication, cross-functional coordination, and steady escalation management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service, account management, sales operations, order management, or a similar manufacturing role.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage high-volume email correspondence accurately and promptly.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, including data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work onsite in Hackettstown, New Jersey.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in electronics, industrial manufacturing, or power electronics.
  • Experience with customer portals, order management systems, or supply chain collaboration tools.
  • Epicor experience.
  • Experience supporting large key accounts or strategic customers.
  • Knowledge of RMA processes, customer quality systems, and corrective-action workflows.
  • Experience creating presentations and customer-facing reports.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain customer orders accurately and promptly in Epicor.
  • Generate packing lists and commercial invoices for domestic and international shipments.
  • Retrieve orders, administer changes, update commit dates, download forecasts, and upload commitment files through the customer PACT portal.
  • Reconcile open orders between Epicor and PACT to maintain aligned records.
  • Manage the full return material authorization process from initiation through resolution.
  • Research and help resolve invoicing discrepancies with Finance and Accounting.
  • Respond to a high volume of daily customer status requests with accuracy, professionalism, and urgency.
  • Drive delivery-escalation resolution by coordinating internal teams and communicating clear updates.
  • Participate in regular customer status calls covering orders, escalations, and critical priorities.
  • Partner with Quality on complaints and corrective actions and with Service on failure-analysis updates.
  • Coordinate with Program Management to track new product introduction orders and commit dates.
  • Build and maintain Excel tracking tools, order logs, status reports, presentations, and customer updates.
