We are searching for an Inside Account Manager who will work closely with our VP of Sales to support and grow existing customer relationships while serving as a key point of contact for account coordination and client success. This role will partner closely with customers, the TempAid innovation lab, and internal teams to manage post-sale communication, quotes and pricing, product samples and testing timelines, onboarding, and order follow-up to ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-focused, and proactive, with the ability to identify growth opportunities, resolve client issues, and support long-term account retention.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years in inside sales, account management, or B2B customer-facing roles
  • CRM proficiency - Salesforce preferred but HubSpot or Dynamics works too
  • Can manage multiple accounts and priorities independently without constant direction
  • Strong communication skills for pharmaceutical B2B environment
  • Commercial mindset not just processing orders

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmaceutical, life sciences, logistics, or cold chain experience
  • Familiarity with GDP or pharmaceutical supply chain
  • Understanding of temperature-controlled packaging and cold chain

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing client communication and follow-up after initial sale or interaction
  • Develop a strong understanding of product costing and work with the customer service team to generate accurate quotes and pricing for existing accounts
  • Coordinate lab samples, testing timelines, and validation results
  • Maintain CRM updates and manage pipeline activity
  • Work with the customer service team to track and expedite open orders
  • Set up kickoff meetings and coordinate onboarding for new clients, ensuring all required agreements and documentation are in place prior to or at the time of onboarding
  • Analyze historical sales data by account to identify revenue trends versus prior periods
  • Partner with account sales representatives to identify and introduce products the client may not be currently using
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key client contacts
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for client issues, coordinating internally to drive resolution
  • Prepare and present regular account reviews including performance metrics, open opportunities, and risks
  • Monitor contract renewals, pricing agreements, and key account milestones to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Identify at-risk accounts early and develop retention strategies in collaboration with the sales team
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to product and operations teams to support continuous improvement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the TempAid innovation lab, gathering customer requirements, coordinating with internal lab teams, and communicating project updates back to the client throughout the engagement
