About The Position

Adena Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its expanding Inpatient Cardiology team in Chillicothe, Ohio. This is a 100% inpatient role providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to hospitalized patients as part of a collaborative, physician-led team. The role offers structured onboarding and mentorship, with progressive clinical independence and physician support. The cardiology team includes non-invasive and interventional cardiologists, an electrophysiologist, a cardiothoracic surgeon, inpatient nurse practitioners, and outpatient nurse practitioners who may assist inpatient services when needed. Adena is continuing to expand its regional cardiovascular program and specialty cardiac services. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotating weekend coverage approximately every couple of months. A flex day is provided during the week following weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

Perform inpatient cardiology consultations.
Conduct subsequent patient visits.
Participate in daily physician rounds.
Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans.
Manage patient care independently while working closely with the physician team.
