About The Position

BPA, a passionate engineering firm with a presence across Canada, specializes in sustainable design and technical innovation for buildings and infrastructure. We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, working directly on-site with one of our major clients, Pratt & Whitney Canada. This role is within a dynamic industrial environment, requiring close collaboration with the client and the general contractor. Projects are typically small to medium in scale but high in volume, demanding rigor, efficiency, and strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural option).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant structural experience.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
• Ability to take technical leadership on projects.
• Comfortable in a collaborative and integrated client-site environment.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of projects.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an industrial environment is a major asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as the structural project lead on-site.
• Design and validate structural solutions adapted to an existing industrial environment.
• Coordinate work with internal teams (mechanical, electrical, process, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with the client and the general contractor.
• Ensure compliance with standards, codes, and safety requirements.
• Manage multiple mandates simultaneously in a tight deadline context.
• Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Provide technical support during construction.
