About The Position

Requirements

  • Engineering degree.
  • First experience (thesis or industrial) in microelectronics, semiconductor material physics, or chemistry.
  • Positive mindset and a desire to invest in the company's adventure.
  • Ability to consider customer expectations and their applications.
  • Ability to consider diverse interface constraints to develop the best solutions.
  • Rigorous and stimulated by teamwork.
  • Proficiency in English for exchanges with equipment suppliers, partners, and Singaporean teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing processes for new products, including necessary equipment and fabrication sequences, up to the production of initial prototypes.
  • Define the complete process by developing each manufacturing step individually and then assembling them.
  • Understand the physical effects of processes on product quality in an industrial setting.
  • Conduct experiments, analyze results, and adjust or rectify the process iteratively.
  • Engage in diverse activities and a variety of topics, finding solutions to technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with other teams such as Pilot Engineering, Expertise, Product Integration, Soitec Lab, and Material Engineering.
  • Work with other departments including industrial operations and business units.
  • Take customer expectations into account through interest or knowledge of their applications.
  • Consider the diverse constraints of interfaces to develop optimal solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with equipment suppliers, partners, and teams in Singapore.
