Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Member of the OIQ (Engineer or CPI)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to analyze and solve problems in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work with continuous improvement and project management tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, models, and specifications
• Knowledge of the English language is required as this position requires working with documents written in English and regular communication with partners outside of Quebec.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the automotive or heavy vehicle sector is an asset

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate activities necessary for the containment of engineering problems
• Implement sustainable solutions for production issues
• Ensure that the definition and nomenclature of trucks are complete and accurate from the start
• Prioritize, coordinate, and present product improvement projects
• Generate performance indicators for their sector
• Act as a technical and training reference for vehicle systems related to their area of responsibility
• Act as a communication channel for engineering events in their sector
