About The Position

At Bank of America, this role designs tools and services within a technical domain to support business strategies while following architectural governance, standards, and policies. It creates infrastructure tools and integrations as services, and develops templates, playbooks, and automation to facilitate deployment of technical solutions. The role seeks to improve efficiency in implementing and maintaining tools and services and supports continuous improvement. The position serves as a technology subject matter expert for analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of software development projects involving ServiceNow ITSM, ITAM, and ITOM. It works across multiple projects and development efforts, provides technical and architectural guidance on complex initiatives, and collaborates with onshore and offshore resources. The candidate should have at least 5–7 years of hands-on programming experience. Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and ITSM applications.
At least 5 years of experience working as a ServiceNow Developer.
Proficiency in API development using SOAP or REST.
Proficiency with ServiceNow core tables, Glide, scripting, UI actions, scheduled jobs, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methodologies.
Expertise in ServiceNow development, JavaScript, and Angular JS or React JS.
Proficiency in ServiceNow Flow Designer.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with complex and global projects.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

Very strong analytical skills.
ITIL Foundations certification or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise and consulting on technologies, and assist Technical Analysts and Infrastructure Engineers in ensuring technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards.
Translate business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and deployment playbooks in compliance with architecture standards and policies.
Evaluate reference models, blueprints, and playbooks to ensure they are fit for purpose.
Develop software solutions to address manual, repeatable work and inefficient processes.
Conduct on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoption.
Promote an inclusive and healthy working environment and help resolve organizational impediments and blockers.
Contribute to creating or selecting functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains.
Support the standup, configuration, and implementation of modules supporting ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM capabilities.
Design, create, and maintain reporting, including Platform and Performance Analytics, Process Mining, and KRIs, KPIs, and control metrics for process/workflow and operational perspectives.
Develop interactive dashboards, widgets, and workspaces.
Create and maintain forms, reports, views, workflows, business rules, scripts, ACLs, groups, and roles.
Create and configure integrations with ServiceNow, including Netcool and Kafka.
Assist with designing, creating, and cataloging business process flows.
Design and configure ServiceNow functions to meet operational needs.
Oversee integration of information into the CMDB from ServiceNow Discovery and APIs, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Use API development experience to establish communication between ServiceNow and other systems, and design and implement APIs for efficient data exchange.
