Information Technology Technician (Local Government) - Delaware County Area Agency on Aging
About The Position
The Delaware County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA) is seeking an Information Technology Technician to support staff, volunteers, and partners across the agency. The position provides comprehensive hardware and software support, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots IT systems, manages user access and devices, and helps improve IT operations. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and advancement and is based in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The position is full-time, with work hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday and a 30-minute lunch. Part-time telework may be available after six months, depending on operational needs, and may change at any time. Applicants must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement and be able to perform the essential job functions.
Requirements
- An associate's degree in any information technology field; or two years of experience providing information technology support services involving hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on IT support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues for employees, volunteers, and providers.
- Create and manage user accounts and system access in supported platforms.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and mobile devices.
- Monitor network performance, address network problems, and support shared resources.
- Record help desk requests, track equipment, and maintain accurate technical records.
- Determine user training needs, prepare training materials, and provide instruction on technology topics.
