About The Position

Amentum is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to support Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC) with Information Technology (IT) and Audio/Visual (A/V) expertise. The position is within the Intelligence Directorate (G2) and enables mission success by assuring command & control (C2) to close Joint kill chains. The candidate will provide IT and A/V support within MARFORPAC’s Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and Special Access Program Facility (SAPF). MARFORPAC’s integrated SAPF/SCIF enables planning, campaigning, and management of effects, as well as directly integrates into the Joint Integrated Fires Effects Center (JIFEC), Family of Integrated Targeting Cells (FITC), Joint Fires Network (JFN), and communications architectures (US, Alley, and Partner Networks) for seamless operations across all levels of warfare. This position plays a crucial part in enhancing multi-mission battlespace awareness, integration of services, physical security controls, and increasing C2 efficiency that directly support U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) priorities and enhances regional security.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience in above-listed functions
  • Completed DoD 8570 Requirements for IAT Level II certification
  • Possess Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security certification
  • Experience with Cisco codecs and desktop VTC
  • Experience using Creston A/V technologies
  • Familiarity with DoD/IC Voice/Video technologies and integration methods
  • Prior military IT or Intelligence Community experience
  • Must have an active Top-Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible.
  • US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years prior experience providing IT and A/V support.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pertinent Information Technology (IT) security regulations and guidelines (i.e. classified document control, security, requesting office supplies/equipment, etc.). This includes a thorough knowledge of DOD regulations, IT physical security and IT information security procedures and guidelines.
  • 2+ years of experience at Combatant Command or Service Component Command Headquarters.
  • 3+ years of INDOPACOM theater experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support, manage, maintain, train, and administer instructions to personnel working within the SCIF on Audio/Visual (A/V) system operation and management. Instruction provided will enable personnel to operate A/V tablet, security controls, multi-media controls, and broadcast services.
  • Enterprise level network maintenance on physical and virtual servers, workstations, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
  • Manage Active Directory users to include password reset, create/move users, create/update folder permissions, and mailbox maintenance.
  • Maintain oversight on all local SCI network, PoP, VOIP, VTC assets, identify conflicts/issues, and present to leadership for priority assignment and direction when necessary.
  • Circuit troubleshooting and repair and maintaining overall network health across the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) Tier 1 nodes, in the Pacific Area of Responsibility.
  • Optimizes and maintains all A/V equipment throughout the SCIF. This includes system programming, life-cycle management, and video input/output services.
  • Manages expendables, consumables end items, budgets, tech-refreshes of A/V equipment and multi-media systems within the SCIF.
  • Support, manage, maintain, train, and administer the SCI network equipment and services with focus on the Tactical Point of Presence (PoP) equipment, and Tier 1 Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP)/Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment and services.
  • Pre-deployment support to units preparing to use the equipment in a tactical scenario.
  • Manage, Troubleshoot, Repair, Maintain, Train, STIG, and Patch Room and Desktop VTC equipment.
  • Manage Room and Desktop VTC schedules for multiple sites, de-conflicting where necessary and reassigning resources as needed.
  • As needed, work with vendors to facilitate replacement parts or new coding to correct issues with the Room and Desktop VTC Suites.
  • Provide new member and pre-deployment training to Marines and civilians on related equipment.
  • Occasional travel may be required to provide installation, training or other equivalent services to support local Marine Corps training.
