About The Position

The Arizona Humane Society is looking for a passionate and skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at our Papago Park Campus! This full-time opportunity works Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed to support, upgrade, and maintain the technology that helps power our lifesaving mission. Requirements

  • High school diploma and relevant IT certifications (e.g. MCITP, MCSE, etc.).
  • Excellent time management, adaptability, judgment and decision-making skills are required.
  • Very strong team player, able to assimilate into a high-performing team.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to build relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of computers, software, operating systems and local area networks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Explorer; able to learn other software programs as necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in an information technology area and relevant IT certifications OR a Bachelor's Degree in an information technology area preferred.
  • At least one year of experience supporting business users in a hybrid Microsoft-centric environment.
  • Network troubleshooting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and quality IT support to empower team members across the organization to use technology efficiently and effectively in support of our lifesaving mission.
  • Provide technical assistance for workstations, laptops, thin clients, printers, peripherals, and other technology systems through in-person, remote, phone, and email support.
  • Install and configure hardware and software.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Respond to service requests.
  • Document completed work.
  • Assist with IT projects.
  • Provide support for the organization's phone system.
