About The Position

The Information Technology Project Intern is involved in our summer hardware refresh, which involves skills in customer support, hardware, and project focused work. This position requires the candidate to be on-site in our Edina, Minnesota based offices 5 days a week, M-F. vRad (Virtual Radiologic) is a national teleradiology practice made up of 500+ radiologists who help expand access to lifesaving care for millions of patients each year. Requirements

  • In pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or a related field
  • Enjoys being busy, learning and working as part of a team
  • Highly motivated and ability to work independently on defined tasks as needed
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, written, verbal and personal

Responsibilities

  • Take direction from project managers
  • Send and receive emails with careful attention to detail and professionalism
  • Schedule appointments in Microsoft Outlook
  • Provide technical support over the telephone when necessary
  • Other small office duties such as hardware testing & warranty work, inventory management, and other similar duties as assigned.
