Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required.
  • Enrolled in a college degree program pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of practical work experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting general computer hardware.
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform work under direct supervision of an experienced professional and follow established procedures and clearly defined processes.
  • Interact with multiple departments and peers within the organization and participate in intern program learning and development opportunities.
  • Respond to help desk requests.
  • Set up and deploy computer equipment.
  • Install software.
  • Schedule hardware repairs with vendors.
  • Maintain computer equipment inventory.
  • Conduct back-up system maintenance.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the IT Director.
  • Assist in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of web and/or mobile applications.
  • Develop or update software components under guidance from senior developers.
  • Participate in code reviews, stand-up meetings, and sprint planning sessions.
  • Document code and maintain development logs or reports.
  • Support system testing and troubleshooting activities.
  • Contribute to UI/UX improvements and design discussions as needed.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Application Development Manager or project leads.
  • Monitor security systems, review alerts/logs, and assist in investigating potential threats or incidents.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and support remediation efforts for identified risks.
  • Assist in managing user access controls and auditing identity management practices.
  • Support security awareness training efforts and help maintain compliance documentation.
  • Gain hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, antivirus, firewalls) and assist with IT security projects.
  • Set up and deploy lab/testing equipment.
  • Configure, Install and test software.
  • Update and contribute to department documentation.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Information Security Officer.
