About The Position

Provide hands‑on support to the Information Technology department by assisting with daily operational needs while gaining practical experience across IT systems, hardware, and end‑user support. The role involves creating, maintaining, and updating PC images for new hardware deployments, setting up and configuring workstations and IT equipment for new employees, and troubleshooting PC, network connectivity, and network printer issues. The intern will utilize ticketing systems, support Microsoft Office 365 applications, perform hardware repairs, and assist with PC and user migrations. Key challenges include simplifying processes while maintaining accuracy, understanding stakeholders, aligning on project plans, prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, and anticipating future IT needs.

Requirements

  • Education or coursework in a field related to Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated exposure to or interest in project management concepts.
  • Some experience with Active Directory Users and Computers, including unlocking accounts and updating user information.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and word processing tools.
  • Working knowledge of PC hardware and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Goal‑driven and results‑oriented.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a persistent, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Self‑motivated and eager to learn.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Well‑organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to or interest in artificial intelligence solutions, tools, or models is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update PC images for new hardware deployments.
  • Set up and configure workstations and IT equipment for new employees.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PC, network connectivity, and network printer issues in collaboration with the IT team.
  • Utilize ticketing systems to create, track, resolve, and appropriately escalate IT support tickets.
  • Perform troubleshooting and support for Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Repair and replace PC hardware components as needed.
  • Assist with PC and user migrations to new tenants and domains, including coordination with IT team members.
