About The Position

The Information Systems Manager will help shape how one of Georgia's busiest constitutional offices uses technology, data, automation, and artificial intelligence to improve court operations, customer service, and access to justice. This is not a traditional IT support management role. It is an opportunity to influence technology strategy while leading the people and systems that deliver it.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in one or more of the following: enterprise application management, IT leadership, technical staff supervision, project management, business analysis, enterprise software implementation, vendor management, technology operations, or data analytics and reporting.
  • Three (3) years of lead or supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Requires the ability to coordinate, manage, correlate, and analyze data and use judgment to support operational strategy.
  • Requires the ability to provide formal training and first-line supervision, including assigning and reviewing work, maintaining standards, coordinating activities, and evaluating employee performance.
  • Requires the ability to operate and control equipment and technology necessary to perform assigned responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with technical team leadership, court or justice technology, Tyler Technologies applications, enterprise implementations, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, AI and automation, APIs and integrations, business process improvement, change management, public-sector technology, technology procurement, vendor management, disaster recovery, or business continuity is preferred.
  • PMP, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Microsoft, or related certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead application administration, configuration, integrations, APIs, upgrades, testing, releases, enhancements, and application roadmaps.
  • Supervise technical staff, establish priorities and performance expectations, manage workload and accountability, coach employees, and strengthen cross-training and team capacity.
  • Lead enterprise implementations from planning through go-live, including requirements, scope, schedules, risks, vendors, testing, training, change management, and operational readiness.
  • Drive system reliability, application support, incident escalation, ticket management, root-cause analysis, change control, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Identify responsible opportunities for AI and automation, develop dashboards and performance measures, support SQL-based analysis, and use data to improve operations and decision-making.
  • Partner with executives, operational teams, County IT, justice partners, and vendors to translate business needs into technology solutions and hold partners accountable for results.
  • Strengthen technical documentation, SOPs, knowledge transfer, training, and technology adoption across the Office.
