Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Infectious Disease Physician to provide exceptional care to our community in beautiful Coastal Virginia. This role offers a unique blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, ensuring variety and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) – Required
  • Successful completion of residency or demonstrated experience in Infectious Disease – Required
  • Active Virginia Medical License – Required
  • Valid DEA registration for controlled substances – Required
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat complex infections, including those caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.
  • Manage antibiotic stewardship and guide appropriate antimicrobial use.
  • Provide care for patients with HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and other chronic infectious conditions.
  • Consult on hospital-acquired infections, infection prevention, and outbreak management.
  • Collaborate with primary care and specialty teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
