Riverside Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Riverside Commonwealth Family Practice in Newport News, Virginia. Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by an approved medical board
- Licensed to practice medicine in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Valid DEA registration
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, longitudinal care for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct annual wellness visits and routine physical exams.
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and obesity.
- Administer age-appropriate immunizations and preventive screenings.
- Perform well-woman exams, including birth control counseling.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, lifestyle changes, and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with specialists and care teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
